Today, we’re diving into the topic of money and financial freedom. To start, let’s look at a case study. A member of the audience asked me a question about money—did you know you can do that too? If you’re feeling stuck, you can visit my website at leftbrainintuitive.com/ask and submit your question. No name, no email, no sales pitch—just a space to share where you’re stuck.
I’m Elise Lebeau, the Left Brain Intuitive. I’ve been giving intuitive readings for 20 years, and I love it because intuition brings clarity. Clarity is life-changing—it determines whether you stay stuck for another decade or make consistent progress toward what you truly want.
Intuition and the Deep Desire for Financial Freedom
When people come to me for intuitive readings about money, I know it’s going to be a long session. Money is complicated. Our society has ingrained the belief that money is the gateway to happiness. The problem arises when we aren’t enjoying the process of making money.
Today’s reading is for a woman who is frustrated. She’s been working on financial freedom for a long time, yet she still feels stuck. I completely understand that frustration—I spent years feeling the same way before I realized I needed to be intuitively dominant when it came to money.
If you resonate with this, stay tuned because I’ll share a technique at the end to bring more clarity into your life—so you can confidently move toward your financial goals.
Why Intuition Feels Elusive
The tricky thing about intuition? We don’t get a manual for it. We have to figure it out ourselves. It took me 20 years to truly understand the practical application of intuition.
I could easily give intuitive readings to others, but using my intuition for myself was much harder. It’s like a surgeon—operating on someone else is one thing, but operating on yourself? That’s a whole different challenge.
That’s why I created this podcast—to share what I’ve learned so you don’t have to spend decades figuring it out on your own.
What Do You Most Need to Hear Right Now?
When I do an intuitive reading, I start with one key question: “What do you most need to hear right now?” Sometimes, the biggest problem isn’t what we think it is.
For today’s reading, the answer is clear:
Everything you’ve done so far has had the effect it was supposed to have.
You’re not broken. You’re not doing it wrong. You don’t need more information. I see all these doubts swirling in your energy. They might not even be conscious, but they are there.
Your Mind vs. Your Intuition: Understanding the Conflict
I like to think of people like laptops. The bottom part of the laptop—where the hard drive, GPU, and WiFi exist—is like your subconscious. The screen is what you’re consciously aware of.
When I read someone’s energy, I see the “hard drive” data, not what’s on the “screen.” That’s why sometimes people don’t consciously recognize what I tell them at first—but it always resonates on a deeper level.
Intuition is subconscious. That’s why it’s so difficult to access. My job is to bring those hidden insights to the surface as quickly as possible, saving you years of trial and error.
The Role of Intuition in Financial Freedom
Everything you’ve ever done regarding financial freedom has moved you forward in some way. Maybe you took a course, read a book, or watched a video. Each of these had an effect.
Sometimes, that effect was inspiration, moving you toward your goal. Other times, it was discouragement, making you feel like nothing is working. When that happens, your intuitive compass is telling you, “You’re going the wrong way.”
This is how intuition communicates—with emotions and physical sensations. If you feel a pit in your stomach when watching a video or reading a book about financial freedom, that’s your intuition saying: “This isn’t for you.”
If something makes you feel excited and motivated, you’re heading in the right direction.
How Logical Thinking Keeps You Stuck
Your logical mind is powerful, but it can also be your biggest obstacle. Right now, your mind probably has a long list of reasons why financial freedom is impossible for you. And if you don’t change that, 10 years from now, you’ll still be stuck.
The logical mind gets momentum from these beliefs:
- “I will always be stuck.”
- “Financial freedom works for others, but not for me.”
- “I don’t have enough money.”
- “I’m not smart enough to be financially free.”
Did you feel bad reading those statements? I did. That’s your intuitive compass telling you: “Not this way!”
If you feel good after reading something, you’re on the right path. If you feel bad, it’s time to stop and course-correct.
The Fundamental Problem: Not Trusting Your Intuition
Many people struggle with financial freedom because they don’t trust their intuitive compass. They keep reading books or watching videos that make them feel bad—ignoring the signs that they’re heading in the wrong direction.
Your logical mind doesn’t believe you’re making progress, so it metaphorically “spray paints” over the signs that say “Yes, you’re going the right way!” That’s why you feel stuck.
A Practical Technique: Collecting the Wins
To build trust in your intuition, you need proof. Here’s a simple but powerful technique: Start collecting your wins.
Wins are moments of clarity, no matter how small. Here are a few examples:
- Emotional wins: You read a chapter in a book and felt inspired.
- Financial wins: You received unexpected money.
- Idea wins: You had an idea about financial freedom and explored it.
Each of these is proof that you are making progress. But if your logical mind refuses to acknowledge them, you won’t trust your intuition.
Action Step: Make a List of Your Wins
- Think back to when you first started your financial freedom journey.
- Write down every moment of clarity, every unexpected financial gain, and every new idea you explored.
- Acknowledge that each of these was a sign that you were heading in the right direction.
The more you clean the “spray paint” off your road signs, the more clearly you’ll see your progress—and the more your logical mind will start to trust your intuition.
Final Thoughts: Trust Your Inner Guidance
Your intuition is always guiding you toward financial freedom. The key is to listen. If something feels good, keep going. If it feels bad, stop and reassess.
By collecting your wins and proving to your logical mind that your intuition is reliable, you’ll build the confidence to trust yourself—and finally achieve the financial freedom you’ve been working toward.
I hope this was helpful! Talk to you soon.
